moneyfit FAQ’s

Financial stress is one of the leading causes of low productivity and employee churn in the workplace. The moneyfit corporate wellness program provides every employee with a world class money coach to build a custom training plan.
Q: Who is behind moneyfit?

A: Over the last twelve years we’ve provided financial strategy and coaching to thousands of New Zealanders through our mothership enable.me , saving them over a billion dollars of interest on mortgages alone. We believe that financial freedom should be a birthright - so we created moneyfit to help as many people live a life true to their financial values as we can. Our diverse team is made up of behavioural economists, designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, cultural strategists and performance coaches.

Q: How does money coaching work?

A: Your money Coach is a real person who's on-call to support you. They'll work with you to establish your financial goals, identify any hurdles and map an achievable action plan to get you moving forward. After joining a moneyfit coaching programme, you'll schedule an initial consultation via a virtual call with your coach to get underway. Once you’ve established your action plan, you’ll meet via video chat monthly. You’ll also get regular updates, tips and insights from your moneyfit app letting you know how you are tracking.

Q: What type of programmes do you offer?

A: We have three core programmes designed to meet the needs, life stages and goals of our clients. Broadly speaking these cover a) those seeking to build wealth or reach a savings goal b) those looking to reduce debt and change spending habits c) those looking to build a strong base and financial resilience.

Q: How does my coach track progress?

A: Your moneyfit coach receives regular updates regarding your progress via the moneyfit dashboard and can see exactly where you need to focus to drive improvements and crush those goals.

Q: What is moneyfit’s cancellation policy?

A: We want you to be completely satisfied with moneyfit. You can try it risk-free for the first month, and we'll give you a full refund if you decide to cancel. After the first month, you can cancel at any time and we won't charge you again. If you are ever unsatisfied with our service, you can email contact@moneyfit.me and we'll be more than happy to make it right.

Q: How much time does it require from me?

A: Moneyfit is designed to work for real life, so we’ve made our coaching sessions short, snappy and flexible to fit into your busy life. The first session is 60 mins with monthly check-ins scheduled in 30-minute blocks. This means you can book coaching at times that suit you - between meetings, on a lunch break or if you’re a natural multi-tasker while you’re preparing your dinner.

Q: How do I know if moneyfit is right for me?

A: We firmly believe that it’s your trajectory, not your financial starting point that matters. The biggest factor is that you are sufficiently motivated to put the hard work in, and make the changes and sacrifices required to get moneyfit and realise your financial potential. If we feel we are unable to help you, we have a range of free and specialist advisors we can refer you to.

Q: Is Moneyfit designed for couples?

A: Moneyfit is primarily designed around a single based budget. So if you are a couple operating out of joint bank accounts then moneyfit will work for you. Alternately each of you can sign up individually to moneyfit.
